Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu Game Reserve

Today, you will awake to the exotic birdcalls in a magical new world with the whiff of Kenyan serenity. We will arrive at camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our first game drive between 1600hrs to 1830hrs. The reserve’s topography is mainly open savannah (grassland) with clusters of acacia trees, forest, thorn trees and grassland vegetation and the surrounding is an area of spectacular scenery with its dry plains bisected by the meandering life lung Ewaso Nyiro River that cuts through this reserve, drawing a big population of wildlife to the park
