DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

In the morning at 08:00Hrs, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and embark on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, which is approximately a 4-hour journey from Nairobi. As you enter Amboseli, you will immediately be captivated by the stunning vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro, providing a picturesque backdrop to the park’s wide-open plains. After checking into your lodge, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before venturing out on an afternoon game drive.

During your game drive, keep your eyes peeled for the park’s diverse wildlife, including large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, and various antelope species. Amboseli is also home to predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals, so there’s always the possibility of witnessing a thrilling wildlife interaction.

Day 2: Full Day Exploring Amboseli

Rise early to catch the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro before setting off on a full day of exploration in Amboseli National Park. The morning hours provide excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings as animals are most active during this time.

You’ll have the chance to explore different areas of the park, visiting various waterholes where animals gather to quench their thirst. Amboseli’s swampy areas are particularly attractive to elephants, and you’ll likely come across large herds bathing and socializing in the muddy waters.

During the day, your guide will share their extensive knowledge about the park’s ecosystem, wildlife behavior, and conservation efforts. You’ll also enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.

In the afternoon, you can choose to visit a Maasai village located near the park and learn about their traditional way of life, customs, and cultural practices. This immersive experience offers a unique insight into the Maasai’s deep connection with the wildlife and the land.
